scary movie.

pre - production;

during our groups Pre production, we explored many different and new things, we learnt that even planning a film is difficult, let alone re making a film, or at least one scene of a film. firstly, with great difficulty we figured our what film we were doing, next we figured out what scene we were going to do, we then took in turns to draw and label our story board as a draft. Next we sat down and talked about who was going to play which character, we wrote it down in our books and wrote what costumes we were going to use, we also wrote down each persons script and practiced it over and over.

errors:

Unfortunately during our film making we came across many errors. we worked as a team to fix them and helped each other out, we then worked everything out and our film turned out nicely. the errors we developed are, we didn't know how to use the camera very well, we got confused and it kept stuffing up and deleting some parts that we recorded, we then figured out that we were pressing the wrong buttons, we often argued with one another but we got through it and put up with each other, some days some people in our group weren't here so a few of us had to edit the film on our own, but we did okay.

production:

Whilst re making the scene in our film (scary movie) we came across the errors above ^.

we also came across some funny parts, we got a laugh out of making our film and thoroughly enjoyed doing this activity, some parts were really boring but we knew we had to do it.

first of all, we got our costumes on, then got the camera and tripod and all the equipment we needed to make the film, we figured out where we were going to do our film and went there straight away, we filmed each persons part of the scene, this took a few weeks but it went well.

post production, editing:

After completing our actual production, we then took all our time to edit our film, this seemed to take forever because it was boring and not exciting like doing the production, the teacher taught us how to use the IMOVIE icon on the IMAC screen, we then copied our films off the camera onto the computers and started editing our film, we cut bits out, added parts, changed voices, changed background colour, added sounds and all sorts of things. over all making this film was alright fun.

The genre of the film was like a chick flick. 
Relationships, friendships, heartbreak and sometimes death occurs in teen films.
Teen films are usually set in schools as fights often occur in high schools and college.

Cher - Cher is a really girly girl and loves her best friend Dionne, she dresses like a wannabe plastic. shes nice but gets a bit emotional at times and likes attention. 


Dionne - Dionne is girly but not as girly as her best friend Cher. Dionne can be a bit bitchy especially towards her boy friend. Dionne has dark brown, almost black hair with braided dreadlocks. She also has her nose pierced with a hoop earring in it.


Tai - Tai was a tom boy when she first turned up at her new college. Then later on when she made friends with Cher and Dionne, she turns completely different, her new girl friends give her a huge makeover and change tai into a complete different person altogether. Tai doesn't have much experience with boyfriends, there for she acts different around them compared to Cher. 


Josh - Josh is the older step brother of Cher. He is fairly a relaxed guy and is caring towards his family, Cher and himself have a strong bond as a brother and sister. 


Murray - Murray is Dionne's boyfriend, he is nice and caring towards her but he acts a little immature around his friends. He can be rude at times especially when he fights with Dionne.


Elton - Elton is a fairly laid back person. He seems to care for the girls, meaning Cher, Dionne and Tai. He likes to help them when needed and he seems caring. He is just a normal teenage guy that loves him friends


Travis - Travis is a bit of a geek, He loves to ride his skateboard and try to impress the new girl, Tai. He acts like a bit of an idiot when trying to impress. He attends the same college as the group of teenagers. He wears a flannelet shirt and jeans casually.


Mal - Mal is Cher's dad. He is really protective of Cher and really cares about her college grades and her driving lessons. Cher hates how her dad is so protective and demanding toward her, but she realises its for the best and he only just cares about her and is looking out for her.


Mr hall - Mr hall is a soft hearted teacher, he likes to have a laugh and likes to think he impresses miss Geist. He can get a little bit aggro when the students don't co-operate but other wise he is a nice laid back teacher.


Miss Geist - Miss Geist is a nerdy kind of teacher. She somehow falls for Mr Hall but its really cute and sweet.
The couple spend a bit of time together and seem to care for one another. Miss Geist is also a nice teacher.

Cher - Cher's personality changes and develops in the film because later on she realises she's liked for who she is and she doesn't need to try and impress.


Dionne - Dionne changes in the film because she finds out that her boyfriend actually cares about her and when they argue it only makes them stronger, and her friends care about her.


Tai - Tai finds out that she can fit into a new school, she just needs to try. she also finds out that boys can be jerks but nice at the same time, depending on the guy. she also realises she has great friends at her new college.


Josh - Josh realises how much his sister means to him and that they can get along, as long as they both try. He decides its a good idea to try and get along with people because its worth it in the end.

Cher - Cher wears really girly clothes and makes sure she looks perfect, high heals, dresses and cardigans are worn by this character.


Dionne - Dionne wears skirts, heels, and casual shirts, she doesn't get as dressed up as Cher but she likes the fashionable clothes.


Tai - at first tai wears tom boy clothes, like baggy jeans and flannelet shirts, then later on she wears dresses, skirts and heels like the others.


Josh - He wears casual clothes, just like a teenager. shirt, jeans and skate shoes.


Murray - Murray wears just normal shirts and jeans with a belt, but he wears his pants very low as he tries to be cool.

Clueless is a great film for teenagers that love drama and a bit of comedy, The film shows that new people can fit in at new schools and that they just have to try. But don't try to fit in because the people who matter will like you for who you are and you don't need to try to impress them.
overall i give this teenage film a rating of 9 out of 10.

Brian: Brian is kind of nerdy and quite, he often looks really worried when he gets spoken to. In the start he doesn't seem like he wants to talk to anyone and he always looks nervous. Then toward the end he comes out of his shell and talks to people and sticks up for the girls.


Claire: Claire is like a princess, she is very defensive and abit rude, she is sometimes emotional and takes things abit to seriously sometimes. She acts like nothing else matteres except her and she doesn't have many facial expressions.


Allison: Allison is weird, she often wears black and always looks upset and angry and looks like she's about to kill someone, she has her hair swept over her face so you can only see one eye, she isn't very nice when she talks to people. Then in the end, Claire gives her a haircut and style and she looks like a completely different person.


Andrew: Andrew is the jock, he's abit caring towards girls and helps them out, he's strong and doesn't really care about much. He dresses like a casual guy and he seems pretty laid back most of the time.


John: John is a bad boy, he is really rude and mean and treats others like crap, he wrecks things and treats other objects and materials like there dirt or something.






Brian: Brian wears a sweater, and jeans, green sweater, Brown coloured jeans. just like a casual outfit.


Allison: Allison  often wears black, black shit, black cardigan and a black skirt with stockings, she's like an emo outfit.


Claire: Claire wears a pink shirt/cardigan, pearl earrings, and a reddish coloured skirt. shes like     a princess.


John: John wears jeans, a white shirt with a flannelette shirt over top of it, then he wears a leather jacket and wears gloves.






At the start of the film, the studens don't get along at all, they hate each other and say nasty things. Then at the end of the film they form a stronger bond. It changes because there all bad people and suit the same group of friends.




The plot in this film is, a bunch of students are in detention at school for the bad things they did.




School, gym, office, corridoor, class, room, street, attic and the bathroom are the places the film is set.




music: slow acoustic, heavy metal, loud acoustic and acoustics with no lyrics, because of the drama set in the film.




The issue's and themes' in raised in the film..
At the school in detention when they all escape and bad boy is found in the gym.
they sit in the class and tell each other why they had detention and the things they can do.
They sit in the classroom and cough to cover up  from john being caught in the attic. 
The themes when they all bully each other and be nasty, the themes include relationships, bullying, emotions and all other teenage problems.




the movie was an older film, there for it included different events than teenage films now days, such as, the whole movie was based on detention, teenage films now are based on, boys and girls relationships, and have much for drama involved. 




The film 'The breakfast club' was a good film for older people, for students between 10 and 17 i think it was a bit boring, it doesn't contribute well to teenage life now and involves a bit of violence, which could encourage people to do more violence. The film wasn't bad but it could have been set better. over all i rate this film a 7 out of 10.
